4983 (2024). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: What advice, reports, briefings, aide-memoires, risk-registers, or any other documents, if any, has the Prime Minister or any member of their Office received during the week of 25 March 2024, by title and date?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I received the following documents between 25-29 March 2024 from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC): • He Whenua Taurikura Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism Hui 20-23- Cancellation, 27 March 2024 Government Inquiry into the North Island Severe Weather Events: Final Inquiry Report and next steps dated 25 March 2024. • Meeting with Hawke’s Bay Mayors and Chair on 3 April, 28 March 2024 • Prime Minister’s Weekly Report, 28 March 2024 • Provision of national security information for Acting and Associate Ministers, 28 March 2024 I also received one document on 27 March 2024 and two documents on 28 March 2024. It is not in the public interest to release the titles of these documents. I have received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe however I am not releasing the titles of these briefings. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
