Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: Further to his response to WPQ 56052 (2025), which reported that Pharmac incurred $30,267.82 in May 2025 in relation to a non-disclosure agreement, what specific categories of legal or administrative work made up that expenditure?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by Pharmac that the expenditure was for legal advice. The subject matter of the advice is subject to professional legal privilege.
