4960 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Why are Ambulatory Sensitive Hospitalisation rates much higher for pacific children compared to Maori or European?
Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Ambulatory Sensitive Hospitalisation (ASH) for 0-4 years is predominantly made up of infectious diseases. A major contributing factor to this is child poverty and housing.
