4955 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Why are emergency department presentations by region not indexed to population in Health NZ - Te Whatu Ora's quarterly performance report for the quarter ended 31 December 2023?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that Emergency Department presentations are reported by district of service, not district of domicile. Because this measure is location specific, reporting by population is not appropriate.
