4947 (2026). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: Would he consider changes to the Planning Bill and Natural Environment Bill to strengthen climate adaptation provisions?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Planning Bill and the Natural Environment Bill address climate adaptation through their natural hazards provisions. Both Bills are currently before the Environment Committee. The Government will consider changes to the Bills that are recommended by the Committee.
