4947 (2025). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How many, if any, more people are now receiving jobseeker compared to October 2023 as of 15 February 2025?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that for the month of October 2023, the number of Jobseeker Support recipients was 182,340. I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that the number of Jobseeker Support recipients in January 2025 was 213,162. This is an increase of 30,822 people between October 2023 and January 2025.
