Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: Following the move to a partnership-based approach to monitoring Pharmac, what progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter (September to December 2023) in ‘supporting a ‘no surprises’ approach in advice to the Minister?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that the implementation of a ‘no surprises’ approach in advice to the Minister of Health was completed prior to the last quarter (September to December 2023). Accordingly, no progress was required in that quarter.
