4915 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend fixing database security breaches in the 2022 calendar year?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised by both the Ministry of Transport and the NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) that no expenditure was incurred on fixing database security breaches in the 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 calendar years. This is because no database security breaches occurred during that period.
