4880 (2024). Rachel Boyack to the Minister of Education: Is the rebuild of Maitai School is on hold?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) has initiated a process for reviewing 352 Ministry-led projects across 305 schools and kura pre-construction to identify opportunities to achieve better value for money. The planned redevelopment project at Maitai School is one of the projects included in the value for money reviews. Further information is available at education.govt.nz/our-work/changes-in-education/value-for-money-reviews/. The value for money reviews are an operational matter for the Ministry. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 4945 (2024).
