4857 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend fixing database security breaches in the 2025 calendar year?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister of Tourism & Hospitality, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. In respect of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, I refer the Member to the Minister for Economic Growth’s answer to written parliamentary question 4880 (2026). With regard to Crown entities under the Tourism & Hospitality portfolio, I am advised that Tourism NZ had no database security breaches in the 2025 calendar year.
