4827 (2024). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister of Customs: What impact, if any, will the 6.5% cuts at New Zealand Customs Service have on the capabilities and resourcing in its Maritime Group and the National Maritime Coordination Centre?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) is identifying savings to baseline funding that will not impact the border services it provides for New Zealand, including the capability and resourcing of Customs’ Maritime Group and the National Maritime Coordination Centre.
