4820 (2024). Hon Willie Jackson to the Minister for Media and Communications: Will the Minister commit to not using consultants for Media policy development during her tenure as Minister of Media and Communications, and if not, why not?

Hon Melissa Lee: This is an operational matter for Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage. However, my expectation is that the use of contractors and consultants should be restricted in order to find savings in the 2024/25 financial year and beyond.
