4810 (2024). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Immigration: In assessing general visitor visa applicants from Palestine, if any, does Immigration New Zealand take into account the nature of any personal, financial, employment or other commitments in the home country and New Zealand?
Hon Erica Stanford: Applicants from Palestine are subject to the same visa instructions as all other visa applicants including the requirement to show that they are a bona fide applicant. Immigration New Zealand can grant an exception to instructions where the circumstances warrant one.
