4772 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Are transitional housing contracts being renewed post-June 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development is renewing Transitional Housing contracts beyond June 2025 where these are for suitable housing that is meeting the need in place. I am advised that some Transitional Housing contracts are not being renewed by the Ministry as part of a process of rebalancing the portfolio to ensure that appropriate levels of supply and support are provided where it is needed most.
