4770 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Will the minister consider Te Whatu Ora's performance has improved if the proportion of digital appointments increases, or if it decrreases?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I would consider a proportional increase in the use of telehealth and other forms of virtual appointments to be an indicator of improved performance by Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora as such appointments provide access to care in a way that is convenient for patients and reduces the need for in-person appointments where these are not required.
