4766 (2025). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: Will internal/iwi/hapū providers of the Ka Ora, Ka Ako programme receive a top-up to their $4 per meal funding to cover extra costs; if not, why not?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised the Ministry of Education is investigating options to make sure meal provision meets the nutritional standards and is equitable across all models including a school kitchen (internal model) or an iwi/hapū provider.
