4761 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Police: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend fixing database security breaches in the 2023 calendar year?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Police and the Serious Fruad Office has not identified any database security breaches in the 2022, 2023, or 2024 calendar years, nor in the 2025 calendar year to date. Accordingly, Police incurred no expenditure specifically to fix database security breaches in those periods. This is my also response for Written Parliamentary Questions 4764, 4777 and 4780 (2026).
