4761 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Customs: What roles were consulted on during the job consultation process that took place at Customs NZ in December 2024, and what, if any, decisions have been made regarding those roles?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that in December 2024, the New Zealand Customs Service commenced one consultation process. This related to a small team consisting of five staff. The roles affected include a Team Leader, a Senior Corporate Services Officer, and Corporate Services Officers. The consultation process was limited to a proposal to change their Hours of Work Category and Allowance to reflect the changing work requirements of that team. A revised Hours of Work Category and Allowance was implemented for this team. This process was completed in December 2024.
