Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter (September to December 2023), toward implementing the recommendation to ‘ensure all health system guiding principles in the Bill apply to Pharmac’ from the Pharmac Review final report?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that action in response to this recommendation was completed with enactment of the Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022. Accordingly, no progress was required in the last quarter (September to December 2023).
