Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter (September to December 2023), toward implementing the recommendation to ‘require Pharmac to improve the transparency and accessibility of its systems, processes, resources, and communications to allow disabled people to participate and contribute on an equal basis’ from the Pharmac Review final report?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that in addition to expanding the expert advisory committees to increase patient voice, Pharmac has made recent improvements to its website and information to help increase transparency. This includes, more regular publications and newsletters targeted to its stakeholders.
