Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: If the recommendation ‘CAC members be appointed by the Minister in consultation with the board and the CAC terms of references be subject to the Minister’s approval’ from the Pharmac Review final report is accepted, what progress toward providing a transition arrangement to maintain the existing CAC members and the TORs now agreed, has been made in the last quarter (September to December 2023)?

Hon David Seymour: The previous Government, in response to the Pharmac review final report, did not accept this recommendation. Accordingly, no progress was required in the last quarter (September to December 2023).
