Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: Does she stand by her statement that the changes on April 1st to the Active Investor Plus visa represent “a minimum of $250 million to grow our economy and bring in highly valued skills, expertise, and networks to help our businesses grow”, if so, how will she measure this?

Hon Erica Stanford: Yes. 50 x $5m (minimum) = $250m Once the visa changes are implemented on 1 April I will receive regular reports from officials on applications.
