4667 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: What consideration, if any, has Oranga Tamariki given to the Royal Commission into Abuse in Care's final recommendation 116 when planning how to achieve Oranga Tamariki's delivery priority of enhanced commissioning and contracting of partnered services?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki they are currently considering the Royal Commission into Abuse in Care's Recommendation 116. A decision has not been made on this recommendation as yet. I am further advised that Oranga Tamariki will consider all relevant Cabinet or Government decisions into any future plans for changes to commissioning and contracting of partnered services.
