4574 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Infrastructure: Does the Minister, or their office, use artificial intelligence in the preparation, editing, proof-reading, drafting, brainstorming, deliver or any other stage of creating speeches?

Hon Chris Bishop: Agencies are free to use/encouraged to use GenAI in ways that are safe, transparent and responsible, in alignment with the recently released Responsible AI Guidance for the Public Service: GenAI. This includes ensuring that there is human review of GenAI outputs used to support the development of speeches and other written content such as advice and communications. We do not hold information on which, if any, agencies have done so in contributing to my speeches.
