4571 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Immigration: Does the Minister, or their office, use artificial intelligence in the preparation, editing, proof-reading, drafting, brainstorming, deliver or any other stage of creating speeches?

Hon Erica Stanford: No. I note that agencies and Ministers' offices are free to use GenAI in ways that are safe, transparent and responsible, in alignment with the recently released Responsible AI Guidance for the Public Service: GenAI. This includes ensuring that there is human review of GenAI outputs used to support the development of speeches and other written content such as advice and communications.
