Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Public Service: Did the Minister, or their office, use artificial intelligence in the drafting, creation, editing, proofing or any other part of the process of creating and delivering the speech titled "Address to Public Service Leaders" dated 11 February 2025?

Hon Judith Collins: No. Minister’s offices and agencies are free to use / encouraged to use GenAI in ways that are safe, transparent and responsible, in alignment with the recently released Responsible AI Guidance for the Public Service: GenAI. This includes ensuring that there is human review of GenAI outputs used to support the development of speeches and other written content such as advice and communications.
