4490 (2025). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport: How can the public and local councils provide feedback to NZTA about speed limit reversals?

Hon Chris Bishop: NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) welcomes all feedback on the sections in consultation through the survey feedback forms available at the following links: NZTA Public Consultation Hub : www.nzta.govt.nz/consultation Speed Limit Changes Hub: www.nzta.govt.nz/proposed-speed-limit-changes Outside of the consultation, there are 38 other sections that will auto-reverse without consultation under the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2024. I am advised that NZTA encourage people to continue sharing any concerns and other feedback outside the scope of the current consultation on these auto-reversals via email to speedmanagement@nzta.govt.nz so it can take this into consideration for future speed management planning.
