4483 (2025). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Associate Minister of Education: Since January 2025, how may expense claims, if any, have principals submitted to the Ministry of Education for alternative lunch sources, due to late delivery, poor student uptake, or any other reason, of the Government's school lunch scheme?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised the Ministry of Education is assisting schools with reimbursement of costs for the purchase of additional food items due to delivery challenges in the initial rollout of the programme in term one. As of 14 February 2025, the Ministry had received invoices from 11 schools for approximately $9,700.
