Hon Penny Simmonds: As at October 14 2023, there were 152 Māori employees at the Ministry for the Environment (the Ministry). The criteria applied to identify these 152 employees are: 1. Employees who identified themselves as Māori. 2. Employees who started on or before October 14, 2023. 3. Employees who were still with the Ministry on October 14, 2023.
