4347 (2024). Celia Wade-Brown to the Minister of Transport: What advice, if any, has the Minister received about the gap in funding required to complete the infrastructure works on the Wairarapa train line in advance of the delivery of the new rolling stock?

Hon Simeon Brown: I have received advice on the Lower North Island Integrated Mobility Programme, which is reflected in the draft Government Policy Statement on Land Transport. That advice includes the investment required for the trains and track infrastructure.
