4335 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Further to the Minister's answer to WPQ 3417, what changes, if any, is the minister proposing regarding the process through which a person charged with an offense elects a jury trial?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: No decisions have been made to date on changes to jury trials. I am, however, working with officials on a range of initiatives to improve court timeliness, including for jury trials, and will continue to do so over the coming months.
