4301 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister of Immigration: What reporting requirements, if any, will investors under the Active Investor Plus visa be subject to in order to demonstrate their contribution to New Zealand’s economy?

Hon Erica Stanford: Investors are required to meet investment retention checks as part of the conditions of their residence visa. Investors or their representative will be required to respond to questionnaires as part of the checks on their visas about their investment activity and engagement with New Zealand businesses.
