4299 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Conservation: What advice, if any has the Minister received about translocating roroa, rare snails and lizards, in regards to Bathurst's application to mine the Denniston Plateau?

Hon Tama Potaka: I have not received any advice on translocating roroa, rare snails and lizards in regard to the Section 71 Wildlife Act application by Bathurst Coal Limited to salvage protected wildlife from its mine on the Denniston Plateau. The member should note the Department of Conservation has the delegation for decision making in this matter.
