4219 (2024). Lan Pham to the Associate Minister for the Environment: Does the Minister agree with the Biodiversity Collaborative Group report that "It will be necessary that the recommendations are implemented in full and given priority by current and successive governments, and supported by industry, hapū, iwi, landowners and all New Zealanders"; if not, why not?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: The report was prepared and published in 2018, and the previous Government did not implement the Group's recommendations in full. The BCG's position is not something for me to agree or disagree with.
