4215 (2024). Shanan Halbert to the Minister for Auckland: Will the Minister seek to extend the funding for the 4.5 FTE staff working for MBIE to support the Auckland portfolio whose funding is set to expire June 30th, 2024, and if not, why not?

Hon Simeon Brown: The previous Government approved funding to support the Minister for Auckland portfolio only until the 30 June 2024. I am working with my MBIE officials on options to support the Auckland portfolio which may or may not include new funding or the reprioritisation of existing resources.
