4198 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 toward the objective ‘Increase the linkage of diagnosed cases of hepatitis C with treatment’ under ‘Focus area 4: Surveillance and monitoring’ in the National Hepatitis C Action Plan?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, the Hepatitis C Support and Treatment Service in the Northern Region successfully linked 34 people to treatment. I am further advised that the service's intensive approach ensures the most complex patients get the support they need to keep them on required treatment.
