4196 (2024). Steve Abel to the Minister for Racing: What action, if any, will he be taking in response to reports of three racing greyhound deaths in a week?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: Any reports of racing greyhounds deaths are an operational matter for Greyhound Racing New Zealand (GRNZ) to investigate and address. As the Minister for Racing, I do not have a role in operational issues such as this. However, I expect GRNZ to address these as a matter of urgency.
