4195 (2024). Steve Abel to the Minister for Racing: Has the Minister received any reports, briefings, memos, aides-memoire, notes or written advice in regards to the greyhound industry this year; if so what are the dates and titles?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: In my capacity as the Minister for Racing, I have received the following briefings on this topic: • 12 January 2024 - Future of the Greyhound Racing Industry in New Zealand (from the Department of Internal Affairs); • 6 March 2024 - Greyhound Racing New Zealand (from GRNZ) Provision of Retired Greyhounds As Pets to Chicago and New York; • 26 March 2024 - Suspension of Racing at Manukau (from GRNZ); and • 27 March 2024 - GRNZ January 2024 Quarterly Report (from GRNZ).
