4190 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 has been made toward actioning ‘Workforce training, guidelines and resources’ under Focus area 2: Combination prevention and health promotion actions as recommended in the National HIV Action Plan?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, the Burnett Foundation Aotearoa and the New Zealand Sexual Health Society provided HIV clinical updates to clinicians in Rotorua and Tauranga. I am further advised that during the quarter the Foundation also delivered primary care training modules to 27 pharmacists and other health professionals.
