4188 (2024). Scott Willis to the Minister of Agriculture: Does the Minister stand by his statement: “The Government is focused on getting costs down for our farmers. We recognise the challenges sheep farmers are facing in the current climate with the oversupply of Australian lamb flooding the market and driving global prices down; and the ongoing barriers faced across the wool sector,”, and if so, can the Minister ensure that MPI’s proposed budget cuts will not add another barrier to Aotearoa’s wool sector?
Hon Todd McClay: Yes.
