Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 has been made toward actioning ‘collaboration and integration between health services and community organisations’ under Focus area 3: Testing and linkage to care actions as recommended in the National HIV Action Plan?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, HIV service providers continued to deliver scaled up innovative HIV testing. This included delivering rapid point-of-care testing in a range of settings, and strengthening collaboration and integration between health services and community organisations. In addition, self-testing kits were promoted and distributed using vending machines in targeted venues.
