4173 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: Further to WPQ 612 (2026), what is the current average wait time for placement into Housing First in each of the targeted regions?

Hon Tama Potaka: Placement in suitable housing and acceptance into the Housing First service does not necessarily occur at the same time, with households accepted into the service as the first step and placement into housing occurring once suitable accommodation is identified for the specific household. I refer the member to my response to WPQ 5146 for regional breakdowns of average wait times into stable housing after entering the Housing First programme.
