4161 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: Does he agree with the Regulatory Impact Statement: Responding to Gang Harms, “The visibility of gang insignia has assisted Police in identifying members and building an intelligence picture that can inform Police operations," if so, how is his comment “not at all”, when asked if removing gang patches would make it tougher to fight gangs and know who’s in the gang, true?

Hon Mark Mitchell: No. Our Police force has the experience, capability and intelligence-gathering ability to identify gang members and those involved in organised crime.
