4157 (2024). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: What advice, reports, briefings, aide-memoires, risk-registers, or any other documents, if any, has the Prime Minister or any member of their Office received during the week of 18 March 2024, by title and date?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I received the following documents between 18 to 22 March 2024 from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC): • King’s Birthday 2024 Honours List (KB2024): APH1 briefing, 20 March 2024 • Prime Minister’s Weekly Brief, 21 March 2024 • Publishing circular on consultation and operating arrangements, 22 March 2024 • Grant of the title “The Honourable” to retiring members of the judiciary, 22 March 2024 • Aide-Memoire for the Intelligence and Security Committee meeting 26 March, 22 March 2024. I also received one document on 18 March 2024, one document on 20 March 2024, and one document on 21 March 2024. It is not in the public interest to release the titles of these documents. I have received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe however I am not releasing the titles of these briefings. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
