4145 (2026). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Education: How many, if any, school lunches were not delivered during the week of February 2nd 2026, expressed as an overall number?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that for the week of 2 February 2026, external model suppliers delivered 396,578 meals with 95 percent delivered in full and on time (DIFOT). Late deliveries were due to road closures, new drivers and new delivery routes. The Ministry does not track DIFOT for iwi and hapū meal providers, external suppliers to Specialist Schools and Teen Parent Units, or internal model kitchens. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 4147 (2026).
