4139 (2026). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Does the Minister agree with RNZ that New Zealand differs from comparable major jurisdictions in having no product regulation designed to ensure the safe supply and use of corded blinds?

Hon Scott Simpson: New Zealand currently has no mandatory product specific safety regulations governing the design, supply, or installation of corded internal window coverings.
