Hon Scott Simpson: Option 4A is one of the regulatory options proposed in MBIE’s consultation document on Options to Address the Safety Risks of Corded Window Coverings published in 2023. Option 4A proposes introducing mandatory design requirements for corded internal window coverings, similar to the mandatory product safety standard used in Australia.
