Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Does the Minister agree with Consumer NZ head of research and advocacy who said that, with regard to regulation for corded window coverings, "we see this as a disappointing example of the minister not prioritising product safety", and if not, why not?

Hon Scott Simpson: No. I take the safety risks associated with corded internal window coverings seriously and have my officials for advice on this matter.
