Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter July to September 2024 to implement the recommendation ‘Work towards full compliance with National Patient Flow (NPF) data requirements’ as part of Te Whatu Ora Planned Care Taskforce Reset and Restore Plan?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. That's why we have brought back health targets, which were removed under the previous government. I am advised that the key focus of planned care reporting was on the accuracy of waiting time data.
