4089 (2026). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Has the Minister had any discussions with other Ministers about prohibiting the installation of corded window coverings in Kāinga Ora and other publicly funded housing developments, and if not, why not?

Hon Scott Simpson: No, however, MBIE sought information from Kainga Ora to check the current blinds in their houses and to make them safe if required.
